I went to lunch by myself today. While eating I noticed this guy glancing toward me. He had a woman and an older man with him. I was getting kind of uneasy and was going to ask him what the problem was. Which I should have done. When I left the buffet I sat on the bench outside for a while, then went to my car. While unlocking my car I heard someone yell out my name so I asked who they were. I never did find out who the older man and the younger man was but the woman with them was part of my life 30 years ago. I really wish I could have talked to Shirley but the older man kept telling them to hurry up and get in the car!
What did you do to that poor guy thirty years ago?
Was it Shirleys Dad?
Had you kept her out past curfew?

I don't know who the two men were, but I know the older man was not her father. He died in a house fire years ago.
The woman with them that was part of your life 30 years ago must have said something to the man that was upsetting, shocking or just plain funny - something so strong that it made the man want to keep looking over at you in wonder.
probably told him you're the one that gave her herpes...
