Here are three things you say on this site, a lot, that I sure as hell hope you don't say in real life.
1. methinks
2. dunno
3. poopity head
What the hell is up with #1? I see it all the time. Are we goddamn pirates?
Methinks I may add more A2K colloquialisms to the list as they come to me.
Me an' The Girl use number 3 all the time . . .
I have never, on any occasion, real life or virtual, used any of the three. I consider myself above that sort of thing.
I've dunno that I've ever used the term "dunno."
about the only thing i say in real life nowadays is, "i dunno, but methinks you're all poopity heads"
I will admit that the only time I have ever used the word animadversion was right here on this site, but that is only natural for such a word to slip out on The Marlboro thread, in the heat of an argument.
