A few weeks ago I received a phone call from Nielsen Media Research and hung up on them. I'm on the national do not call list so I filed a complaint. Today in the mail I get the following form letter. What's wrong with these people? I've already made it clear that I do not want to deal with them by hanging up my phone and filing a complaint against them!
As you may already know...
In a day or so you will receive a Nielsen TV Diary. Please look for it in a "FIRST CLASS" green and white envelope.
We are enclosing $5.00 with the TV Diary as our way of thanking you in advance for returning your completed diary at the end of your diary keeping survey.
In the diary you write down the TV programs you watch and mail it back. The survey begins on a Thursday. Please look on the front cover for the start date.
Your diary is very important regardless of whether you watch just a little or a lot of TV. Please fiii out and mail back the diary.

They aren't selling you anything. I don't know that they apply to the DNC list.
Besides, it was ONE call.
Relax.
You can just throw out the survey when it arrives.

If the envelope has $5 cash in it I can't through it away.
Why?
It won't be cash. It will be a check I am sure.
And you don't want to take money from the scum of the earth who dared call you once, do you?
Just report to them that you watch C-Span 24 hours a day unless the Teletubbies are on.
I got the diary today which I threw in the trash. The envelope also contained five new one dollar bills which are now in my wallet.
