I could show my ignorance by saying where is Florida? But I have a vague idea that its on the east coast lower down and Texas doesnt matter.
Yes, Texas is far less important that Texans like to think. However, the east side of Texas is Louisiana--Texas is north of the Gulf of Mexico. The Gulf of Mexico would only notionally reach as far east as Florida, so i have my doubts about that, too. The Gulf of Mexico refers to the western portion of the Caribbean Sea, and strictly speaking does not extend any further east than the Yucatan Peninsula and the mouth of the Mississippi River.
The test said:
98% scored higher (more stupid),
1% scored the same, and
1% scored lower (less stupid).
You are our next Einstein. Wow! Keep up the great thinking.
How humiliatin'!
95% scored higher (more stupid),
1% scored the same, and
4% scored lower (less stupid).
You are 4% stupid. This means...
another Einstein....yawn.
Roberta, you are the least stupidest person so far.
Has anyone gotten 0% stoopid?

You could Google "US Map" like I did....
The site is under the mistaken impression that there are nine planets.
Pluto was recently demoted.
Cat is to dog as snake is to alligator?
Mammals and reptiles, I take it.
With the (incorrect) planet answer and the (presumably correct) snake/alligator answer I arrive at:

DrewDad, I heard about Pluto, but I counted it anyway.
DrewDad wrote:Cat is to dog as snake is to alligator?

I had the mammal/reptile answer.
What did I get wrong???
i went with the number of letters.
cat 3, dog 3
snake 5, grass 5.
How stoopid am I.
whats with the "is your computer time correct". does it check somehow?
I am slightly proud of being stupid, considering the kind of questions asked.

Ooh! Ooh! I know this! I saw it on the Simpsons!
'Florida is America's wang!'

I knew that. You mean it counted my correct answer (eight) wrong?
Stoopid test!!!
Your Score Summary
Overall, you scored as follows:
92% scored higher (more stupid),
3% scored the same, and
5% scored lower (less stupid).
You are 5% stupid. This means...
You are our next Einstein. Wow! Keep up the great thinking.
On the cat to dog thing, I figured that dogs chase cats and birds chase snakes. Pretty lame huh?
Aha! Couldn't remember what the second question was. Like I said, humiliatin'.

like you, dp, i picked 8 for the number of planets, so i should have been another Einstein.

No, I figured it the same way. Cats & dogs are always used as examples of natural enemies, so the concept of mammals/reptiles went right past me.
The cat/dog question was poorly written--there was more than one right answer, IMO. I think Eva and dadpad could both be right.
