Welfare Queen

well. it's finally happened, Lady Diane is now officially a welfare queen. Her b'day is tomorrow but she is already on medicare; sucking the public teat. It's been her life long dream to be a queen and now she has it down pat. We shall dine on filet mignon and lobster tails for the rest of our lives and drink only Dom Perignon. I may even fill the gas tank on the Porsche with high test. We be living on easy street baby and it's all on tax payers expense.

I don't know you yet, edgar 111, but welcome to a2k.

As it happens, I'm friends with dyslexia who started this thread, and he is well aware of social and economic differences.

However, I'm a tad surly re ribbing, and even he doesn't get it, re funniness.

Osso, I think he gets it, he was just writing about me, not you, and the irony of Medicare being so reviled by so many. He would never laugh at your situation.

Meanwhile, the steaks and lobsters and Dom Perignon haven't made an appearance, but I'm sure they will come with the next doctor visit.

Surely dys was not writing about me, or my cohorts in my place financially, at least specifically. I know that. I can barely deal with the joking, or irony, and I do take it as irony.

I'm not sure if I'm sorry for reacting or not. It's how the thread hit me.
