He's the ambassodor of the United States to Australia, ya bloke. His wife will be there too, ya bloke so get off your ass and go get yer bloody tuxedo ready.

Crikey! We try to teach ya somethin' and look what we get! No respect!

Oh, and here's a pic so you'll know whom to kneel in front of when you arrive. (Another part of the protocol.)

Oh, and you might be just the right person for this...

Um, ask him how he got this cushy job after being the number three person in the Justice Department (Civil Division, of all things - you know the one with all the changing over from black to christians being the ones disenfranchised) and screwing it up so badly. And be sure to inquire as to the date of his being assigned as Ambassador. Hmm. 2006. Does that line up with anything going on in Justice?

Yeah, see if that gets you at the head table. Very Happy

(Bio: Robert D. McCallum, Jr. presented his credentials as the Ambassador of the United States of America to Australia on 23 August 2006. Ambassador McCallum previously was the Associate Attorney General, the third ranking official at the United States Department of Justice, from 1 July 2003. He had earlier served from September 2001, as the Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Division, the Department's largest litigating component.)

Thats Yarralumla you big red rock eater. An Aboriginal word meaning 'echo', which has been associated with the locality since the days of the early settlers.

I suggested to mumpad that she wear her obama 08 badge. She thought that a really good idea. Something like this.

Laughing (as dp has already explained, farmer, it's an aboriginal name. You'd think a lot of Oz towns were named by drunken people ... like Wangaratta, or Yarragon, or Nunawading, or ....)

The ambassador looks a very wholesome type of individual, don't you think, dadpad?

I'm sure he's a very nice man.

I have read a little about him so will be quite circumspect in what I say.

I'm sure squinney knows what I mean.
