If you file your taxes............

BEFORE the 15th of January, do you have to wait until January 15 for them to be processed?

Or , for example, if you file your taxes on the 4th of Jan with some product like turbo tax that sends them directly to the IRS . You order direct deposit and the promised return time is 6-10 business days, will you get your return BEFORE Jan15th?

( the mister and I are squabbling about this... )
