I am Charlie. I am deaf and can't hear. I get lost in this world many times and I have been made fun of a lot. I need some help. Some help from friends. True and caring friends. My hearing impairment problems have been with me ever since the start of my life.
I need a friend...
There are other people on this site who cannot hear. I think I was here two years before I knew that they were deaf or impaired. I'm sure it's a problem in the real world, but in a forum such as this, it can go unnoticed. Stick around and you will see what I mean.

Of course ones level of insecurity is often related to ones age. By that I mean, bullying tends to lessen as you get older...though sometimes simply evolves into a form that is not quite so 'open'.
