Oops, Amigo and I are on the same wavelength, methinks. I hit the wrong
button. Let's just hope there are folks in the military who don't do the same.

I'm certain there are those of you who have erred. If the truth be told, (I love that expression) I will try and delete it later.

Hmmm. Wonder what "if the truth be told" means?

Hi Letty! Is that you? You are beautiful!

Well, the only time I have heard "if the truth be told" is when someone was gossiping and they added their two cents. Laughing

Thank you, A.M. Great to see you back. Yes, that's Letty all right. I love this quote, too.

"If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved."

Been having some trouble with my pc, and if the truth be told, it's Bill Gates' fault. I wish he would stay out of Iraq. Razz

Frankly, I'm perplexed, Letty.

Both you & Amigo are ace people! Very Happy (No need to tell you that. It goes without saying!)

So, possum, how on earth did you do the "wrong thing" but hitting the "wrong" button? Confused

I have never known you to do a single thing wrong thing in this forum, ever!

Love to you (both),
Mystified of Melbourne.

ps ... if explaining exacerbates the "problem" then don't feel under any obligation ... OK? Very Happy

To err is human

to forgive divine.

"...erred and strayed like lost sheep."

I used to wonder--particularly when the family dog bolted over the horizon--why sheep were the only erring, straying animals mentioned in the Bible.

Noddy, it's a big mistake to count sheep when one tries to sleep. I tried to post an image, and it didn't work.

One of the announcers on the radio station in Virginia pronounced "err", EAR. "We eared when we said that". Razz

Was the evening of your mistakes a night errant?

Knight and day, you are the one
Only you beneath the moon or under the sun
Whether near to me, or far
It's no matter darling where you are
I think of you
Knight and day.

Oops. Wrong night. I guess I could do Knights in White Satin, but somehow, I just cannot picture a knight in shinning armour wearing satin stuff.

Further more, spell check doesn't work.

I eared.

The sheep are wandering and straying through the Book of Common Prayer, not the Bible.

Perhaps they are wandering and straying away from the Book of Common Prayer.

Now the goats are probably more interesting.

Huh . . . give a goat the Book of Common prayer, and she'll eat it.

Ere the night sky parades o'er the meadow
will I err again, and twice again..

Doesn't a male goat have a beard, or is that another misconception? I saw one standing next to some pretty woman and I don't think it was Julia Roberts. He wasn't eating anything, but I bet he would have had it been The Book of Mormon.

Oh, wait a minute. I'm thinking of battering rams. Oops another one.

And at night, the wondrous glory of the everlasting stars.

is it true that you cant see the stars in New York?

What a cruel joke that must be.

Don't let the stars get in your eyes is another big misstep. The meter is all wrong. Speaking of which, I can't delete nuttin'

Here's another song that has been done all wrong at times:

Sha Na Na.

I told the witch doctor I was in love with you
I told the witch doctor I was in love with you
And then the witch doctor, he told me what to do
He said that
Ooh-ee-ooh-ah-ah, ting-tang-walla-walla-bing-bang
Ooh-ee-ooh-ah-ah, ting-tang-walla-walla-bang-bang
Ooh-ee-ooh-ah-ah, ting-tang-walla-walla-bing-bang
Ooh-ee-ooh-ah-ah, ting-tang

Some folks sing that without giving the proper half note its due holding time. TOLD get two counts.
