I know that it isn't a requirement. It is something I have been thinking about and it is important to me. I didn't realize that a site who promotes asking questions then answers by throwing insults and being rude. I will no longer respond to this thread as I can see it is pointless.

My theories on dlowan's new style:

1. Learning ventriloquism (I noted some consonant substitutions that vetriloquists use).

2. Terrible sinus congestion.

This is what to do:

1 ... Turn off computer.

2 ... Leave off for the rest of the evening. (Phew!)

3 ... Pour chilled glass of sav blanc. (or 2!)

4 ... Drink sav blanc. Slowly.

5 ... Ring friend with technical expertise.

6 .. Pass the buck!

7 .. Relax, problem solved tomorrow! Very Happy

Sounds like you might need an adapter to convert a serial plug to a USB plug.

Here's a page of examples of what I'm referring to. You can probably get one for under $20.

On the other hand, if it is a used keyboard you are trying to make work, new ones are under $50.
