Okay-- when I was little I used to think Washington, DC was in Washington state. Then I learned otherwise.
As an older person, I assumed cooked chicken would stay edible in the fridge indefinitely. Whew, was I wrong about that one (the chicken was in a covered container for 3 weeks, awful!). I have no idea where this came from. What a dolt.
Anyone else care to tell their assumptions based on fantasy?

Well, I had posted something pessimistic about once believing in hard work and decency equalling success, but thought twice about it when I read my own sig line.

Thanks for filling me in. But you know, you can still be a decent hard-working person and still make bizarre assumptions.
I thought it the most shocking statement I never read!
