I can't tell you all (y'all) how glad I am to be home and out of that endless blasted sunshine and those warm dry temperatures. God, those blue cloudless skies just make a person sick after a while. Give me snow storms and freezing rain any day. <Atchoo>

(Dys -- I did so notice the boots! but was trying to steer the conversation away from footwear so you'd stop harping on about my Birkenstocks...)

(osso -- I thought you were understatedly elegant, orange scarf and all.)

(I'm sure I'm not the first person to comment on Diane's amazing green eyes.)

(Chai, I'm not "little"; I think the word you want is "squdgy".)

Well, back to the cold Canadian north. I'm simmering a big pot of chicken soup with lots of hot sauce to combat the head cold that's made an early appearance.

Oh honestly Tai Chi.... Rolling Eyes

Ok, folks...here's how it went down....

A while back on a thread about people using metabolism sometimes as an excuse not to lose weight, I remember TC felt a little, well, offended/upset I guess, saying how she was of a certain size, and didn't appreciate people saying it was her entire fault.....

So.....
When I got out of my car and wandered in front of the outdoor cafe, I was, quite frankly, looking for a really large woman. I'm walking up, scanning back and forth, and I'm thinking...maybe she hasn't walked over yet. I was going to go to the end of the area, then maybe walk towards the place they were staying.

Then...I'm rescanning the back of the area with tables, and see someone looking at me expectantly....I nod my head...she nods back.

My immediate, uncensored thought was..."Wow....Tai Chi said she was big...that's not the person I'm looking at."

You are merely round my dear, with the body of a woman.

(Ack! Fishing for compliments! A thwack-able offence!)

Yeah, "round" sounds about right. Not my heels though, lets get that straight!
