You are not owed Social Security - no matter how much you contributed.

You are not owed a home, even if you worked your entire life.

You are not owed any insurance settlement when something goes wrong, even if you have insurance.

You are not entitled to eat for free.

Your bank does not have to give you your own money.

You are not guaranteed the right to free speech, unless you guarantee that right for yourself (and good luck - it's not easy).

You are not owed or guaranteed police protection from criminals or military protection from terrorists.

You may expect these things, but you are not owed them, no matter what you think.

If nobody owes me anything, how did I come to owe others so damn much? Can this theory be applied in reverse?

Unfortunately no, unless you are smart or lucky enough to have more money than God.

Remember - you are not owed the ability to own a gun.
You are not owed hunting whatever the hell you want
You are not entitled to buy ammunition just because you want to.
You are not guaranteed the right to own a gun.

You may expect those things but you are not owed them.

Exactly my point.

Now, if many of you would just try to understand - what the constitution attempts to provide for you - and defend it - all of it.

You are owed nothing.

LOL.. that totally negates your argument about ammo in IL.

You are NOT owed it. I guess you are nothing but a whiner who demands you be given things people don't owe you.

Ammo is an inanimate object. As a law abiding citizen I think I have the right to touch the effing ammo. Nobody owes me ammo - I can make it myself if needed. Get my drift?

Cult? Talk to the so called victims of Katrina - ask them about their insurance settlements, and the $450K/person the govt supposedly spent to help them....

Nothing is guaranteed - period.

SUPPOSED?

LOL.. funny stuff there cjhsa..

So.. in your world only 200,000 people were affected by Katrina? That would be less than 1/2 the city of New Orleans. uh uh.. I guess the people that Katrina killed in Florida were really in New Orleans?

I guess we shouldn't trust the Federal guvment when they tell us 1.5 million people were affected by Katrina.. Or we shouldn't trust the Fed g'vmint when they tell us $127 billion including tax relief was allocated for the areas affected by Katrina, Rita, and Wilma

Approximately 300,000 people were relocated. $127B/300K = $423K/person....

Having spent a great deal of time staying in hotels in Houston last year, I can also say that many of these "refugees" had never lived in a home with plumbing. I don't have much sympathy.

Complete stupidity to claim that all the money went to just those from New Orleans that relocated. You assume no money went to rebuild anything. You assume ONLY people from New Orleans relocated. You assume Florida, Texas and Missouri received NO federal aid for Hurricanes Wilma, Rita and Katrina.

Lets go back and look at your original statement..

So the ONLY "victims of Katrina" were those that have not returned to New Orleans. Rolling Eyes

Typical dumbass liberal response to overcomplicate what is a very straightforward issue. Basically, New Orleans shouldn't have been there in the first place. Secondly, most of those who lived there were completely incapable of taking care of themselves. Thirdly, just do the math and stop complicating it with social welfare issues. Stupid is as stupid does.

I am reminded of the images shown over and over of the man standing in waste deep water with a shotgun in his hand, trying to HELP protect his own property from looter guy (http://www.looterguy.com), while the news media was going on about how armed gangs were roaming the city robbing people. You can bet that guy and other law abiding gun owners were all disarmed by their mayor - furthering the problem by encouraging looting without fear of getting shot by the property owner.

1. Your math doesn't even add up to the $450,000 in your original statement.
2. Your statement about "katrina victims" restricts the victims to less than 1/5 of those actually affected. It's nice to know you think George Bush lied when he said this..

Quote:
"Out of the rubbles of Trent Lott's house -- he's lost his entire house -- there's going to be a fantastic house. And I'm looking forward to sitting on the porch."

-- George W. Bush, Sept. 2

3. If we used your logic - Trent Lott's house was rebuilt, the government has spent $127 billion so the government spent $127 billion per house.

Yeah, those damn stupid liberals that actually want math to be used properly.
