Do clocks have a 'date stamp' ?

I think I have a bakelight clock from.. ehh.. I think the 30's.

I am only guessing that time frame because it is exactly like the others I am finding on the internet, except it is brown. Where most are blue.

Is there a place some where on the clock ( maybe inside?) that has a date stamp on it?
