Who the hell is John Chandler Bancroft?

Oddly enough, he's the spitting image of John Chandler Bancroft Davis.

While he was US. Minister to Germany in 1874 he fathered a child (my great-grandfather) out of wedlock. He never married my great-great-grandmother that filthy SOB.

Now, come to hear, gustav AND Gargamel are probably related to him.
