Tile floors

our "office" computer room we had done with Italian tiles. Sunday I put together Lady Diane's new desk and left some cords running across the floor. Yesterday I was reading some a2k, when I got up I tripped over some of those cords and landed precisely on my left knee. Tile floors don't have much give to them. Lady Diane managed to get me up standing but I could barely walk so she got me my cane which came apart so she went to the market and bought me a walker. The cane is now re-glued, wish I was.

I bruised a hip bone that way a few years ago. Not fun at all.

I hope you're OK soon.

Dys--

An asymetrical knee injury is what one would expect for a non-praying man.

I don't suppose you're going to go for x-rays?

My d-i-l fell and cracked her kneecap in two pieces last month. She didn't think that a trip to the hospital was necessary and by the next day the pieces of patella had separated more than an inch.

My folks had tile floors in their Arts n Crafts style home. Very cool looking, very dangerous. Couldnt ever polish em because they would become an ice rink for a few days.
Carpets werent much good either. I remember Pap would get sheets of rubber from the railroad machine shops and mom would cut out skid pads to put under the rugs.
Sorry bout the accident dude but Im glad it was you.

Perhaps you could do it again and improve it a bit. Then sell the result as "Taber Abrasion Test according to ISO 9352 / ASTM D 1044".

Nevertheless: better you than another fallen angel.

Did you break the tile?

Feel better soon, dys.

Oh, and an x-ray isn't such a bad idea.

How does a cane fall apart?

Sorry to hear about the knee.

Are the tiles terra cotta?

I just busted my left knee when climbing up 1.400m...
I haven't been able to walk right nor do any exercise ever since. It's been almost 2 weeks now.

I blame A2K. Earlier this year, hamburger was reading some A2k, got up, tripped over cords - ended up in emerg with a nasty nasty gash in his chin.

dys, I hope your scar ends up looking as distinguished as hamburger's.

~~~
Send Diane out for some ice cream and pain killers - and rubber mats for the silly tile floor.
~~~

Feel better soon.

swelling is almost non-existent today, just a large bruise. I spent the morning in the garden pulling weeds then the lady Diane and meself went out for brunch.
age is a terrible thing to grow into. (on the other hand)
