Sometimes when I read what I've posted, I think I sound like a guy.
If you saw me, you'd definately not mistake me for a man...long hair, wear makeup, polished nails and all that other crap...
See, that's what I mean.
I enjoy being a girl as the song goes, but I don't get all excited about the girly stuff. It's pretty much just part of the job of being a W.O.M.A.N.
Also, I notice I don't write all....uh....girly and crap.....I "communicate" as in yackity yackity yack with the best of my sisters, but in a manly sort of way.
Sometimes I think I'm gus, to tell you the truth.
No you dont Chia.
I have to say in the last week Ive made a conscious decision to stop swearing so much.If i swore out load as much as I do in my head Id be a very unladylike lady.
I put it down to spending my teen years(coz I couldnt get a boyfriend but my girlfriends could)with a bunch of guys, where I learnt how guys really think, hence I have taken on their mentality and ten to think, write, dress like a bloke.
Nope Chai, your doing dandy you little flower.
Chai
Chai, do you have more male than female close friends? I know some women don't have close male friends. Could be the complication of sexual attraction.
I've had lots of male friends and we deliberately avoided sexual activity because our friendship was more important and we didn't want to jeopardize it.
BBB
If any male friend made a move on me I'd slug him.
"WHATAYA DOIN' YOU BIG JERK!"
no really.....not a problem....my male friends don't arouse me.
now female friends....that's another story.
Do guys reflect on how their posts make them sound?
naaaaahhhh
Only a girlie-girl would start a thread like this.
Now Chai, you know you can't get away with posing as a girl. We're on to all your little cross-posting tricks by now and you can't fool us, you hunk you.

Are you coming out Chai?
Naw....don't want to buy....just like to window shop sometimes.
actually BBB, what did that post have to do with anything? I think I act masculine because I'm sexually attracted to male friends?
ehbeth....giggle....oooo....I guess your'e right....I'm such a silly billy.
you made me feel all sunshiny.
No, you don't sound like a guy to me. You sound like a no-nonsense, practical, no-b.s. type of person who doesn't suffer fools.
I don't know... exactly how big are your balls?
Nah, guys are never that bitchy.
(OK, that was a test. If you laughed out loud, then yeah, you're one of the guys. If you were affronted, then no, dont worry, you're still very much a woman

)
You don't sound like a girl. You sound like a real woman.
Now, having said that, how 'bout we go out and have a couple brewskis, check out the male strippers at Chippendales, then shoot a couple rounds of pool?
Chai--
You aren't masculine. You simply act as a piece of litmus paper for other peoples' prevailing sexual stereotypes.

LOVE the Sweet Potato Queen - I've got three of her books. I think when I first met Diane, she was wearing a Sweet Potato Queen t-shirt.
