The words under my first post say "just hatched", and I do feel as though I've just come out of a shell after recently beginning a full-time job in a picture framing shop. Before that I spent several years as a lady of leisure in Maine, Cairo, Dubai, Johannesburg and CapeTown. Before that I ran a Meals on Wheels in Connecticut. Before that we lived in Toronto, where I volunteered in a center for teen-aged mothers.
When I married Mr. Tuleni nearly 35 years ago, I expected that after his military service and graduate school we'd settle down and raise a family. We did raise a family - a daughter and son who are my best accomplishments - but are only now beginning to feel settled; we are happy to be back in the US for good.
I have a passion for politics and stimulating, civil conversation about the US and its role in the world. I'm also partial to pets, books, movies, food, relationships and just about anything else you want an opinion on. Happy to be aboard!
