I'm an old fart. I worked in libraries at state universities for about twenty years. I'm now on disability retirement due to an injury I had on the job in the library warehouse.
My degree is in music - music history to be specific. I love to play very old music on the instruments available when the music was created. I also love photography although in old age my vision is wretched. Both parents were professional photographers. I'm a Vietnam Era Veteran but I served in Navy Bands in the Mediterranean.
I care a lot about my faith. My wife and I converted from the Episcopal church to the Serbian Orthodox Church in 1996. Our opinion of Bill Clinton is rather unfavorable because of his unprovoked actions in 1999. Recently we switched to the Russian Orthodox Church. I have studied Russian choral practice and was a choir director for about ten years. I'm also minor clergy in the Orthodox Church - a "Reader" something similar to a "sub-deacon."
My interest in computers is hampered by my lack of understanding of how things work in PC's. I'm sure my computer is FULL of junk I would love to remove!
Oh, yes we both love dogs and nature. My best photos are from an area in Ohio called the "Hocking Hills."
