I am a middle-aged woman (age 53) living in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I have done freelance public relations for more than 25 years, serving a variety of local and national clients. I have an extensive background in print, handling both design and editorial services for turnkey projects. Starting two years ago, I began teaching part-time. I am now teaching journalism to high school and middle school students at the private school my 14 year old son attends. I also serve as a docent at an art museum here.

I am happily married to a wonderful man. We celebrated our 25th anniversary this summer. The three of us live in a 1929 house with a wonderful garden in a picturesque neighborhood near the river and a lot of city parks. We have two cats, Buster & Rosie, and a dog, Liam, who keep us entertained.

I love to travel, particularly to Europe and the Caribbean. I am also interested in historic preservation, art history, good food and old friends. Having survived cancer and a number of other personal traumas in past years, I am determined to enjoy life as much as possible now that it is good. I laugh a lot these days, and I wouldn't trade my life for anyone's.

About the username: "Eva" was the name of an aunt, my father's sister, who died shortly before I was born. My father always said there was an uncanny resemblance between us. It's quite obvious in photos. "Eva" wasn't actually her given name. She chose it and had it changed legally as soon as she came of age. I thought it would be appropriate if I chose that name, too.
