I was born in New York City in 1953. I grew up in Scarsdale, NY, a suburb of NYC. Until her death in late 2004, my mother still lived there. These days I only get back there about once a year. I majored in Physics in school and worked in it for some time, but have since migrated into computer programming. I married for the first time in November 2005. My interests are movies, reading, science, nutrition/exercise, window shopping in large malls, the history of science, and early American history. Favorite musical genres: Rock oldies and New Age. I've lived in Florida since late 1982, but still feel at least as much like a New Yorker as like a Floridian.
