What's in store for League of Legends patch 11.8?

Gwen is set to make her debut
There was rumor that the next champion to join LOL would be Isolde the wife of Viego. Instead, we'll get Gwen, one of her creations.

For Gwen each moment of her life is precious, and she lives each day with a purpose. She wanders around Runeterra in a state of separation from Isolde and looking to spread happiness to people who are suffering or hurt. "Tragedy caused them to break apart, and the doll was swept to the sea, and sorrow. Centuries passed. The doll was not deterred because she was sure that she would be reunited with love." Gwen is available on the LoL PBE test servers at the moment.

Rammus mini-rework melds into the Rift
Riot is planning to revamp the other League Season 11 champions to make them more modern. Top of the list? Rammus, with the jungler set to get a new wheels in 2021.

LoL players were first to get a glimpse of the Rammus revamp via the mobile replica Wild Rift. Leroy 'Sirhaian' Kevin has been working on a gameplay update, including overhauls to Rammus' skins and kit.

His ultimate is the biggest change. Rammus, now called Soaring Slam gets some hang time before plunging into the ground and causing shakes. The mobile engagement opportunities can help the tank get back in the meta.

Roaming is also possible for non-jungle champions.
Riot has been testing League's jungle and the champions that take up the job for a long time.

In Season 10, they tried to make the game more "appealing" by extending champion diversity. These changes did not work, or they were not made accessible to live servers.

They're hoping to keep it going in Season 11. Five champions are being tracked by Riot in 11.8 lol patch review to move the players out of the lane, and to put them into the jungle. Darius, Diana, Mordekaiser, Morgana, and Zed.

New Blackfrost and Dragonslayer skins
The update will see four of the skin lines receive new skins. Gwen, the new champ, will finally receive her "Space Groove" as well as Sion (and Vel'Koz) will be receiving "Blackfrost skins. Galio as well as Twitch will also receive dragon-themed outfits.
