ricky vs squash?

Mr B and I spent our honeymoon on St Kitts. The night we arrived we were transported to the hotel and the.... driver, slash, you name it, he did it... told us to rest and he would bring us some dinner and a beverage. It was late and we were exhausted.

Minutes later he arrived with two lime squash, which sound exactly like what you are calling a lime ricky. THE BEST and MOST REFRESHING drink I have ever had!!!!! A bit later he arrived with a perfect dinner and more lime squash.

I wonder, is it the same thing?

JPB, I just googled rickeys and squashes. They both seem to be so similar as to come from the same source. I didn't keep the url, but it looks like there are lots of recipes with minor variations called by both names.

Sounds like your honeymoon got off to a great start. St. Kitts is gorgeous!
