great pictures , cj ! thanks !

did you visit any other cities/places in the area ?

did you post any additional comments about your trip on a2k ?
would certainly be interesting to read some general comments about your experiences .
thanks again , cj !
(hope you have overcome your jetlag by now - you might try some REAL budweiser - perhaps won't help , but tastes great !) .

Hi hamburger!

No additional comments or pictures except here. I also wasn't able
to visit other parts of the Czech Republic (perhaps the next time).
Jet lag is almost over, thank you! Real beer is certainly something else
than Budweiser *brrrrrrr*

I have a few pictures of the Hofbraeuhaus in Munich when they celebrated their 400 year anniversary, and I have a picture of Gertrude and Gustav
when they visited

No gustav, I am much older than that girl. It's just wishful thinking
on your part Wink

Well, it looked like a nice trip. I missed you, Jane. I cried myself to sleep at night.

Yeah, I've read what you said, gustav. You just had salacious thoughts
while the sheep copulated without you.

Have a hot dog - except they call it Eurohotdog in Prague.

Jane, this is one of the few times that I regret having dial up. What a wonderful travelogue. It's as though we have taken a trip back in time.

Tell us about the quartet of musicians. It seems they are made up of saxophone, ebony clarinet, harmonica? (couldn't see that one too well) and, of course, acoustic bass.

Ah, the beauty of old Europe. No wonder you love it.

It looked more like a banjo, Miss Letty, and they played great music,
despite the humid, hot weather. Mostly tunes from the 60s - Beatles, and other western groups. Almost everywhere in restaurants and cafes was
music from the 60s played.

Yes, it certainly was a trip back in time - old Europe is beautiful!

Great pics, CJ! Thanks a lot for posting.

It has been the 650-years anniversary of the Karl bridge recently, btw, .... and I always like to mention that Prague has the oldest German university (founded in 1348 by the German Emperor Karl IV).
