I frequently view member's postings; however, I have found at least one which is not open, dlowan. Are there others? Will they ever be reopened?

He means that - at least for me - when I click to view all my postings, I can only access the first page.

I am unsure if Maple can do even this?

It is driving me nuts.

Damit, I just spent all that time kicking the server's butt (hence the downtime, the server got all hot and bothered and stopped taking requests) and it didn't fix it.

I will look into this.

Bad news. I found out that this is a bug inherent to the core code of the forum and affects users with over 10,000 posts. Major changes will need to be made to fix this so it will have to wait for either a later version of the phpbb code or I will have to do extensive work on all the search functions here.

But if you use the search page and select to view topics (NOT POSTS) you can view dlowan's search results.

I'm marking this answered and the bug is on both my to do list and that of the developers of the core phpbb code.

Hardly seems worth the trouble. Why not just subtract some of her posts, manually?

It's not the post count that does it. It's the actual number of posts.

It will be addressed in a future release of A2K. If phpbb fixes it I say they'll do it around December. If not I'll work on it after certain code is finallized.

Sumac - I thought the same - but a number of people are getting near 10,000, and one assumes many more will follow.

You trying to rub me out? Huh? Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Just kidding - there's lots and lots in there that is way rubbable.

This affects all search queries it seems. For example a search on the word "one" (which returns over 40,000 results at the moment) has the same problem. Also, I've noticed for a while now that some common words (like "only," "yes" or "OK") & single/double digit numbers don't return anything. I imagine that's programmed into phpbb on purpose, but I'm just checking.

single digit searches are blocked, but phpbb has huge issues with large search results. They will address this soon.

I appreciate the interaction.

When I am away for several days, the program does not signal me that there has been postings re my question. Sometimes, that is why I do not keep up to date on my own threads. I assume that is part of the program.
