Can't activate my windows!

Hi, I have the genuine copy of windows XP. I formatted my pc yesterday

and now whenever I want to activate my windows using the net it reads,

unable to establish a connection check your connection or try again!

This never happened to me in the past two times, it got activated via the

net in a second. Now, I tried the activation thing maybe around ten times.

Is this has to do with a person that I used my xp cd to format his

computer with my key?

Am I in trouble now? is it going to close after 30 days?

What should I do? Rolling Eyes

The licence for Windows is for ONE computer only. If you have allowed somebody else to use your product code on another computer, then you have broken the licence agreement.

If the other person activated online, then you may be in trouble.

You may find you have to pay for another software key. Microsoft is not kind to pirates.

Then I deserve my punishment. I only wanted to help that person, didn't

think about the agreement!
