@ehBeth,
Tried the first out of the pan muffin today, very good. The recipe is -
Savory Cornbread Muffins With JalapeƱos and Corn
By MARTHA ROSE SHULMAN,
(she used honey not molasses, I added black pepper, and regular milk --- still good)

cornmeal/w.wheat muffins that contained a smidge of molasses, 2 tablespoons of diced and seeded jalapenos (I'm a chicken heart re seeds when try a recipe for the first time) and s & p, eggs, milk, sage leaves, canola oil, corn niblets, and the usual powder/soda.

@farmerman,
yogurt is one of my passions

a few years ago I was on antibiotics that required me to avoid dairy products for a total of 20 days

day 21 I ate a giant tub of yogurt in one sitting and then decided what I'd eat

A spoon-full of garlicky tzatziki. Soon going to prepare Greek chicken wraps for a late supper.

@ossobucotemp,
I mixed some roasted garlic hummus into some pasta I made recently. It added good mouthfeel as well as flavour.

@ehBeth,
Never tried it with pasta. Hmmm. Sometimes my garlic is roasted, sometimes not, sometimes I put in a variety of local chile powder or seeds, sometimes I add herbs with or instead..whatever is handy when I'm starting the slow cooker. I still have a good part of the expensive bottle of organic sesame tahini that I work in after the garbazo beans are done. I've got scads of garbanzo recipes but my hummus raddled brain wins.
