Do they actually work?

Ive been looking into getting one for my tummy.
I am really quite fit, its just the only exercises i HATE doing are stomach ones. I hate them I hate them I hate them.
So I was wondering if a tummy belt would work instead????

anyone know?
cheers, pq xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I don't know if this is what you mean, but years ago, I had a weighted belt that fit around your waist. The theory was that it would make the muscles work harder in that area, if you exercised using the belt. It DID work. I shudder to think about how far that belt would get around my waist now! Or do you mean the electric ones that tighten the muscles while your watching TV?

The one Phoenix is talking about works, the one MG has mentioned doesn't.

Psst, Phoenix, I sold mine at yard sale a couple of years ago after looking at it and realizing (like Scarlet O'Hara and her corset) that I would never again be that thin.

I honestly cant say if they work or not but I tried one for half an hour once whilst sat on a beanbag. Its the weirdest feeling ever, almost worth getting just for that.
My tummy muscles definately hurt afterwards so something happened to them.

I dont think my friend (who owned it)kept on using it so cant say if it works.
If I had one i think id use it while doing housework or something, so I can counterbalance out the exercise with no execise ratio.

The only thing that gets any exercise is the belt. Believe me, if stuff like this worked every woman in the USA would own one.
