at least 10 years before his time, Kev was a strong man in every respect who was never popular because he had his opinions and wasn't afraid to voice them.

In the true American saying "I bought the farm" he did, after working his balls off for 40 years and buying our dream house in the lake district he "bought the farm"

It was a priveledge to be his wife of 40 years. Joan

Oh my goodness. I saw this and thought it must be some sort of wordplay, original writing, something...

Didn't expect it to be literal. My sincere condolences, and thanks for letting us know.

Was this somewhow related to his demise, Joan?

I'm going to go back and read some more of his stuff.

You stay strong, Joan, and if you feel the need to talk there are many supporting souls here.

Joan, words, of course, cannot express how we all feel about your Kev. I really had fun with his riddles and his jazz inquiries, and my preoccupation about yorkshire pudding. I know what you are going through right now, and I give you my sincerest love and sympathy.

So sorry to learn this - thank you, Joan, for letting us know. We'll miss him, though not as much as will you. You're very fortunate to have been close to Kev - your mourning will ease, and as it does, you'll be more able to celebrate memories of all that you shared.
