By Paul Andrew Bourne, 2006
I see emptiness in their jargons
I see corruption in their intent
What is uttered is not meant
in their speech its not words,
its a craft -
a toy engineered for fools
its one that ostracized, but divide
I see through the speech -
for within the speech its emptiness
crown master
they label a speech,
they label a tale,
they label the Bible,
they label poverty
but they label not its solution
but they say
I can
I can they say -
I can be anything but little did I understood
but within the structure
the obstacles are plenty
For it has taken
Observations experiences
for the lesson to ferment in my wounds
that I can
wasnt for I man
It is as though Im lost in the challenges
of trying to survive
that what I hear, Is
I can die
I can die poor but happen
for the its easy for a rich
man to enter heaven
before the camel goes through
a needle eye
You can die is what is meant
but in the increment of time
what is echoed is I can
is a dialectic within the speech -
as you could
if they wanted you to
it has nothing to do with your effort
as if I could, I would
Yes I would have done it already
but its to decipher the message
within the speech
as only a revolution will foster
I can with the same set of
challenges as those who preach,
within the speech
