Well that's enough reason for me to be there too. I have a friend who lives in Sitges, down the coast a bit, so I shall stay there and join you for the occasional meal, drink and chat!

Dys and Diane haven't nailed a date, ever, on Barcelona, vascillating, which of course I understand, you haven't decided, and reasonably so.


but this was also a matter that kerplotzed me when I cared about this stuff, a year ago trying to work a poll. I watched varied waffles, waffle waffling, not only from them (I counted six different times from one or the other), but others, many others. I tried to achieve congruence, waste of time. We needed someone sterner than me to get any straight total.

Now I don't give a shit, except that it may matter, as I'll be house sitting. (we're pals, despite my stern tone.)

It seems to me that the only way to work this stuff is by announcing a date of arrival and expressing interest, however much, in meeting locals, although, given warning, some, not entirely local, can make it too.

Might well be that I'll come.

This will, however, happen on a shorter notice, since my plans for this year are already - more or less - fixed.

I've read recently that dys is doing very well in the stock market, so it would seem his and Lady Diane's Barcelona trip is a sure "go." All we need to do now is tie down some dates.

I'll be in Barcelona on December 1, but have a chance to extend my trip to Tunisia from October 18 for a week or so. I'm still not sure about the air routing, so this one is a maybe.

Yes, we need DATES. I expect to be In Dubai for December and Goa for Christmas ... any others doing that??
