You know, I catch myself doing the weirdest thing when I'm posting here. Its to do with these smileys, you see. Or with adding those action brackets, like "<smiles>".

Like, what I catch myself doing is - I read a post, and it makes me grin or smile or laugh out loud. So I click "reply", and type some kind of answer like, "hey that made me really grin" - or I type something semi-witty myself - and then I'll type, "<smiles>" or "<grins>" or the like, or I'll click on a smiley and it appears. And the moment I do that, I actually smile or grin again myself too! Like, it wouldnt be sincere if I didnt do it the moment I wrote it, or something, or perhaps just some instinctive impulse or something.

So, am I crazy?

Why did I feel like Letty when I did that "smiles" thing?

I think I will start inserting <similes>.

That will be my trademark and also establish as the craziest son of a bitch on board.

I like to insert similes and actually think of something that's like something else at the exact time that I'm inserting the simile, like a silly monkey. <simile>

I do <smiles> and <snorts> sometimes, and use a smiley not very often. I don't mind seeing them sometimes - beats ROFLing and LOLing to me. In real life, at least around some people who are as twisted as I am, I laugh out loud quite a bit. Hardly ever snort... at anything, or anything.

To answer your query, when I write <smiles>, I am probably frowning in an effort not to type it as <snukes>. When I type <snorts>, I am probably smiling at the concept of me snorting.

I have a question and this thread seems like be a good place to ask it.

The forthcoming image really bothers me. Well, maybe not the image itself, but rather the claim of "reinforcing the equity".

I'm sorry, but I just don't see it.

Anyone?

You should try the "ask me anything" thread but to be honest that guy hasn't answered anything.
