[answered] number of "NEW POSTS" incorrect

checked through the forum postings but could not find an answer ... or missed it .

quite often when i click on "new posts" i'll only get 12 to 15 posts listed , even though minutes earlier it might show as many as a hundred .

this isn't much of a problem ... i'm just curious what causes this .

On one of our computers, the number of new posts always appears as "2" for the last couple of months. None of the other machines do this. The laptop's not in the best shape in the world, so I suspect it's a local problem.

Well, "new posts" means "posts that are new since you last visited." I've seen other people complain about being kicked off, having to log in again or else just having everything re-set.

That rarely happens to me but I did just have to re-log in a couple of times in the past couple of days, which means things are probably wonky site-wide.

You can click on "At a Glance" (two below "New Posts," right after "Unanswered") to see the latest stuff.

Gus old friend, I'm concerned.... you seem a bit out of sorts... do you have a painful burning sensation when you urinate? Because that can effect your entire outlook. I still have a backlog of antibiotics from back in the day .... I'm always here for you.

i think we better check on him .
his entries might be 'subversive' !.

Now that you mention urination it occurs to me that I have not taken a leak in over a month.

That would explain that uncomfortable, bloated feeling.
