Help with a monologue

I need to find a serious monologue for an audition for the musical "Fiddler on the Roof". I will be trying out for one of the three daughters. If anyone has an idea. Please let me now ASAP. Thank you!!!!

Explain what you mean by "serious monologue." Would not a daughter's portion of the Fiddler script work? If you want something other than from Fiddler, I need a few more specifications.

I also recommend using something from Fiddler, unless they've specifically asked you not to do that.

I can't remember the script very well - it's been a while. The longest speech I can think of is Hodel telling her father goodbye and explaining why she's going.
