Without my glasses on.

Rose-coloured or otherwise.

When I was about 6 (he was 4) I told my brother that mum and dad weren't my real mum and dad, and I was from another planet.

That's pretty much still what I think.

As a slightly fey but virile Ted Danson, on rollerskates, weilding a switchblade.

That was SO yesterday.

Today, I view myself as, "guy who clubs baby seals with lead pipe wrapped in barbwire."

Except, instead of going to a far away land to find baby seals, I pretend the little kids playing at recess down the street are them.

A lead pipe works okay for that game, but it will last longer if instead you fill a garden hose with pennies and duct tape both ends. What a great weapon!

Between acts.

Act I - someone's child, then a wife
Act II - corporate ladder climber
Act III - business woman, wife, and mother
Act IV - I have no idea, but it's rapidly approaching

What an appropriate time for this question!

It's yearly review time and I am preparing a tally of my prodigious
accomplishments. Optimizer, synthesizer, changer of paradigms!

In short, a prevaricating b@stard.

I view myself as something of a loner but a great mixer-inner (sitting off in a corner glaring is mixing in isn't it?)

Yes then, that's me.

Yesterday someone says to me, he says: "You hate me don't you?" I told the damned fool that if I hated him I wouldn't bother talking to him. I have not spoken to him since.

So there you have it. I am a sweet gentle creature who loves everybody equally except of course for those who I despise. I am intolerant of people interrupting me...ever, and think very little of the average person seeing as how they are useless, mindless fools who have invaded my private planet (apparently I have some issues which need to be resolved).

If you really want to know how I view myself, then let me say what I say to many people when handing them a particular book: I am Biff.

I thought you had captured a picture of ME there for a moment.

Then I realized... mine are bifocals.
