...the Danish Butter cookies have arrived and they have taken me hostage.

My only defense is to eat them. Eat them all. And quickly.

Those cookies are good! We buy them for holiday parties, but I eat most of them myself.

I love dipping those in frothy double choca mocha.

They usually fall to bits and I end up digging them out with a spoon, but it's worth it.

Enjoy, Bella!

Just wondering: they are with $3.20 for such a box more the cheaper stuff you can buy here - what's you have to pay for it?

Not the infamous Danish butter cookies!

Quickly, give them away to passers-by in the street!
Anyone!
Otherwise you're going to be very, very sorry, my girl!
You'll just have to have more!

Yes, I do believe that that is an archival photograph of Gus, dadpad. From his reckless youth, when he did wild & silly things. (Not like he is now, of course!) Very Happy

Why would anyone buy cookies with a picture of a goat-riding, dead duck-holding dutchman on the tin?

Because it's no dutchman but a figure from one of Andersen's gairy tales

OK.

Why would anyone buy cookies with a picture of a goat-riding, dead duck-holding non-dutchman on the tin?
