Restaurants in Amherst, MA area

My classmates and I would like to buy one of our teachers a gift certificate to a restaurant in the Amherst area. Unfortunately, none of us is terribly familiar with that area. Is there anyone here on a2k who visits or lives in that area? Can you recommend a restaurant or 3? Does anyone know anyone who lives in that area? Can you pick their brain?

The place should be fun, not too expensive or stogy, preferably something ethnic. Thanks!
