problem with static url mode (for SEO mod) on windows server

Hello,

I am running phpbb script on windows server, the script is running fine. What need is the static url mod.

Example:

.php pages will be converted into .html and also remove id's

Please help me in this.

IIS (the server Windows Servers use) does not have mod_rewrite.

There are some alternatives but the mod was designed for mod_rewrite and you'd have to know what you are doing to make it work on Windows using IIS (you can use Apache on Windows if that is a viable solution for you).
