Has anyone tried these new, small fruit cups that contain about 80 calories of nutrients? I have and they're delicious, especially in the dog days of summer.

I like to freeze them up a little before eating them.

I fear this thread may be short-lived, miller. There was a run on fruit cup threads on A2K back in the early part of March and I am afraid the members of this site have exhausted themselves on the subject.

I'll see if I can dig up one of the old threads.

Damn! I must have missed the fruit cup threads. What is the brand name? What nutrients do they offer? Will they enhance my life?

My new fruit treat, heh, is frozen grapes. I got this idea from some a2k pals. Forget fruit cups, I say.

Dole is the brand name and yes, they're a new product. You can get 4 cups for $1.88 and the bottle costs just $2.00

Absolutely delicious, especially for a summer time treat, or for a sick person needing a little bit of pick-me-up.

If you've a sensitive taste, in the mixture of cheeries and pineapple, you might taste a wee bit of alcohol as a fermentation product.

Gus - stop being so negative.

There may have been a lot of people on vacation or traveling for business when the first thread came up.

A revival of this subject might be just what we need.

I buy the fruit cups a lot, and my child loves it as a snack in school,
however I mostly get the jello+fruit version. The pectin is good for her
nails, hair and skin, and she doesn't spill the fruit juice all over her uniform, like she did with the regular fruit cups.

osso, try the frozen pineapple chunks the next time. They are just
as good as the grapes, but have an added bonus of natural enzymes
that aid the digestive tract.

They're also good, cold, when you have a fever and feel terrible.
