This image is really cool . . . it looks like giant morel mushrooms carved in stone . . .

it is in the Kaweah River watershed and will probably never be open to the public.

A shame we can't see it for ourselves. Of course, all the traffic would destroy so much, I understand the reasoning there.

hard to see on the google map images I found at quick look - this might not be the only fork.

It is basically an underground river.
