Today's Chicago Tribune has a big report about the 'Glorious Garden' competition (link above).

Perhaps the ideas are more focused (or only?) to our "northerly" climate, but I really like those gardens:

I'm just about to look at these, but posting to say I seem to remember this from last year - which makes sense, must be a yearly thing. If like these, you may be able to find earlier Glorious Gardens too.

Yes, it's a yearly competiton, but I haven't stocked earlier printed copies of the Tribune.
