I used to wear hiphuggers myself years ago but never exposed my behind like what I see today. Maybe it's adding a belt that keeps things in check??? I always wore a belt.

Just took another gander at the image Mame posted...I guess belts aren't the answer either.

I remember wearing hipsters 30 years ago Smile But they weren't as low down as today's are. I don't find them attractive, but then I'm not a proponent of the 'less is more' school.

Hey, I've seen 'em worn so low in the front that you can tell if the carpet matches the drapes. Shocked

Now that's shameful. There really ought to be a law. Whatever happened to 'indecent exposure'?

Yes, I was SO shocked! But what could I do? I HAD to keep staring! Laughing

Actually, it was one of those I-didn't-just-see-what-I-thought-I-saw moments. So, strictly in the interest of fairness and not wishing to be accused of rushing to judgement, I had to doublecheck.....

Then, a couple weeks later, I saw another, completely different woman similarly attired! Don't these people own mirrors?!

As I recall, Bill Clinton thought it was sexy.

But it's just SO '90s now.

Cool

Still, if a lady walks into my office, lifts her dress and snaps her thong I might still be interested.

I'm becoming numb to it (not to having my crack exposed, to seeing it on others, I mean) because of being in college. You really can't go a day without seeing it. <sigh>

I wear hip-huggers, but not the super low ones, although I do kinda understand how it happens to these poor girls, because it can be hard to find ones low enough that they don't feel like Mom Jeans, yet high enough that they don't slip down when you sit.

Plus, I've noticed that once you get used to a lower rise, you tend to pick lower and lower ones. It's like a drug-- you keep needing a lower rise to feel like it's low enough...the rise you had last year seems way too high now... Laughing

It's all in how you accessorize.
