INMATE FALLS FROM BUNKBED ... SUES GOV'T

The prisoner at Bullingdon near Bicester, told prisoners' magazine, Inside Time, bunk beds were "an accident waiting to happen " . "

a recent article in our local newspaper revealed that the canadian gov't has paid out several million dollars over the last few years to inmates who claimed that incarceration had been detrimental to their health
(we live in the prison capital of canada with - at last count - eight eight federal institutions within a thirty km (about 20 miles) radius) .
our local news often contain a hefty amount of news about inmates and the correctional service - and their occasional disagreements .
