Cold beer hits the spot at a game
Chardonnay isn't the same.,
Nuts and salami
Tastes of umami
But tea at a game is just lame.

Give me a pie and some sauce

But never a salad to toss

Give me a pie and some sauce
But never a salad to toss
Some peanuts and beer
Or some sausages here

Some peanuts and beer
Or some sausages here
After all that, I need some floss.

On my way to the store for some beer
I stopped and I thought, "Now that's queer..."

My pickup ran into a steer

I don't drink too much! Are we clear?

I don't drink too much! Are we clear?

I was just offering some alternative lines, feeling generous and full of bonhomie.

And always a man of good cheer
But I spill quite a lot
Do you think me a sot?
Resolutions can start at New Year

There's something I ought
To do but I just forgot
When seeing this beautiful girl quite near

Realising so, I changed my mind

Sorry, McTag. It sounded to me like you were a drunk explaining to the cop what happened.

"I was just offering some alternative lines, feeling generous and full of ............... bonhomie." Actually McTag, you're not the first person to call it that. Drunk Very Happy

Realising so, I changed my mind
So I followed, admired her behind
With nary a thought

Realising so, I changed my mind
So I followed, admired her behind
With nary a thought
That I would be caught
And considered to be unrefined

I dreamed up a good finish to this when I was waking up this morning, but I can't remember it now! Doing homework off-line, how impressive is that?
It was something like

Dang, McTag, your version is very good.

I love all this whimsical stuff
'K, sometimes the rhyming is rough
But once in a while
