Hi all, can someone help me with this please
John likes 400 but not 300, he likes 100 but not 99, he likes 2500 but not 2400.
Which does he like and why? 900 - 1000 - 11000 - or 12000?
Thanks

Looks like he likes #s which are perfect squares (e. g. 400's square root is 20; 100's square root is 10 and 2500's square root is 50). So, he prefers 900 (its square root is 30). Welcome jane1!...

He hates numbers divisible by three, so 1000 and 11000 are equally welcome. Okay, jespah's right, but my way lets him have more friends.

I took an IQ test (a crappy one that 'was too boring to finish) and I chose 900 but for a completely different reason. LOL
