In the seventies and eighties I had one of the most popular unsigned rock bands in the Southeast, a band called Cirkus. We were referred to as the South's number one rock and roll bad boys and we earned the title nightly. We were also damn good.

July 19th. in Raleigh we are doing a reunion concert and would like to invite any and all able2knowers that might want to come.

On Friday July 18th. we will have a big cookout and pool party at our house for family and selected friends of which you guys are one.

The show will be Saturday. Although we have too many people coming for us to have a guest list, the tickets are only 10 in advance and 12 day of, cheap for this. We rock as hard as any classic rock band anywhere period.

If lodging is a financial burden for you, just bring a sleepin bag. We have a really big house. (Squinney says please RSVP though)

If you ever wanted to party in Gods' country nows the time. This will be a major party event and you're all invited.

This theater only holds about 600, so advance tickets are your best bet.

for info go to www.LincolnTheatre.com, click on See Full Calendar, and go to Cirkus link. If your last name is Booth, don't get any ideas. Laughing Razz

I sense elitist sarcasm....sleeping bags were offered only for those who couldn't afford accomodations and was in half jest....a revival is hardly how I'd put it dear......

rae our kids will be there for awhile...then we're sending them off with a parent or chaperone....a Cirkus show is pretty wild.

I have a 14 year old and a twelve year old and a thirteen year old grandson...the son and grandson will be playing with the band for one song...

Mentioned (to my son) driving to NC to see the fam this summer and he wasn't too thrilled with the idea.....

Haven't taken a road-trip by myself in a while......this is sounding better and better by the minute!

BPB and Squinney:

Great that you invited us all, and I would like nothing better than to attend.

I will pencil it in, and if at all possible, I will be there!
