Chicago CTA Blue line train derails/fire

That line and station used to be part of my commute.

After the blizzard of 1998, the electrics went bad on one of the elevated portions further out from the loop, and the ran two or three trains over it (destroying the electrics on each of the trains) before they figured out that something was wrong.

Doesn't surprise me at all. My experiences with CTA were sketchy (like people falling out of overstuffed buses with completely fogged windows when the doors opened).

Didn't affect my commute one bit. I first learned about it this morning listening to the radio.

and wandel is posting away on the boards this morning, so he's obviously fine.

Does Wandel's wife know that you find him attractive?
