You may check it by typing the word Kugel (I still wonder why the food stuff was named after the bullet (as far as I remember Kugel is translated as "bullet") that is essentially an ordnance piece) and to browse the results.

I doubt that 'kugel' is named after 'bullet'.

In German, Kugel means bowl, ball, globe ... ... as well.

Here it is 'ball', from the its puffed-up shape.

Monger, if this type of ordnance did not bring results, then try Artilleriegranate, Rakete, Landmine, Panzerfaust, Handgranate and other types of munition more powerful than a bullet as your search key words — Laughing.

Bullet is Kugel as well.

However, it's named after the 'ball'.

Ah, OK. The same thing is in Hebrew. It is very strange since the actual bullet is rather conical than round. Mortar rounds are not really round either.

People tried to made bullets round, and most stone bullets are extremly round.

Old documents prove that making 'conical' bullets lead to exclusion from the guild (e.g. Strasbourg, Münster et. al.).

When you look at the quoted website - that's the one, this thread is about - you'll see:

Koogle is a parody created by Alon Landau Web Development and is in no way affiliated with the fine folks at Google.
Nevertheless, Koogle is a real & effective Index/search engine targeted for the Jewish & Israeli community on the web

Ah, then OK. If this is a parody only... But if provides links to the Israeli sites, then why it did not connect Monger to the site of the Israeli Defense Industries, where any ordnance possible can appear — Laughing?
By the way, I wonder, Mr. Hinteler, why did you spell the name of the Elsass capital Strassburg in French? (my character map is temporarily defunct, so I cannot plant here the German character for "ss").

steissd- Maybe "kugel" meaning "bullet", is an editorial comment concerning the texture of the dish. Very Happy Personally, I have eaten matzoh balls that could be a WMD! Laughing
