we had to de-cool one of my favourite v.j.'s - J. D. Roberts, so that he would be accepted in the u.s. market as John Roberts. blechhhhhh.

Sgt Preston of the Yukon was the closest any Canajun ever came to bein' cool, an' all the snow on that set was fake . . . i rest my case . . .

ehBeth, J.D. Roberts...heh heh, you had a crush on him back in the days, didn't you (lol)? Ahem, my friends and I were truly pseudo-honoured when we protested outside of City TV in high school to petition them to bring back 'Batman', the Adam West version, when they had cancelled it. Turns out they all thought it was a prank, and most of the City stars signed the petition, including J.D. Roberts, and henceforth, Moses revived Batman from the dead... We were on the news and everything, even if it was only local.

errrrrrrr, i'm a wee bit old to have had a crush on j.d., even though i've been known to look at an occasional younger man. my crush was terry david mulligan, who i used to listen to on my transistor radio!

Imagine the people from Montreal lived in Canada for three hundred years and still haven't learned to speak English.

It limits some of their choices, but good on 'em. There are also communities of french-speaking people in Manitoba, Ontario, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Overall, i'd say it makes Canada an interesting place. errrrrrrr, an even more interesting place.

Since CFN (Canuckstan's Forces Radio) has been my one and only favourite radioa staion in childhood and youth, I'm just watching this here with shiver.
