Theology as an A2K topic.

It seems to me that the most consistent theological content for topics of spirituality/religion on A2k are about as rational as
Quote:
When counting the number of angels who can stand on the head of a pin, should the counting be done metric or arabic?

Will no one stand up for binary or hexadecimal? Clearly, there exists here an atmosphere restrictive of free and open thought.

I always use Roman numerals when making such spiritual calculations.

Well, this is already getting to be contentious. How on earth can you speak of angels in hexadecimal or binary terms??? Angels have been balancing on the tip of a pin for billions of years. That's a fact. Obviously, they aren't too bright, but there ya go--they have a thing for pins.

Exactly, and it's your fault.

It's not Timber's fault. It's all the unGodly riff-raff who can't -- or won't -- see the truth which was made plain to us all by ...uh...who was that masked man anyway? Anyway, it's the atheists and eggnostics on these threads that are getting in the way of a Higher Understanding.

Leviticus couldn't count high enough to use binary. (zeros where beneath him)

This is an abject example of persecution. I start a simple thread asking for personal experiences of angel counting and hostile angry heathens barge in to disrupt. Go start your own thread and leave use sincere posters alone with our dignity.

Octal is obviously the appropriate format. How could you see the little devils otherwise?

Well dys-

I've never met one angel who could balance on a pin.

Unless it's a rolling pin of course.

Really, the numbers are irrelevant, the REAL question is the intent of our heavenly carer in thusly manifesting angels...what does s/he wish us to learn from these angelic terpsichorean revels?

Are angels in mid-arabesque part of the calculation?

How can we learn harmony of the spheres?

I believe you are not taking my religious beliefs perfectly seriously and without question, which, given that any questioning of my religious beliefs is persocally insulting, means you have insulted me!

You beast.
